Many circus programs over recent years have been shut down due to the mistreatment and abuse of animals that are used in circus stunts. Many of these animals are taken out of their cages only to be forced into long and torturous training sessions and performances. This captive circus lifestyle is no place for a free-roaming, innocent animal.
